Ahoy, Mates!
 Welcome
to Rumrunner Sportfishing specializing in fishing the reefs and rips
of the Long Island Sound. Whether fishing for the first time
or the hundredth, or you just want to learn techniques or fishing
areas for your favorite saltwater species, let me put you on the
fish.
I bring with me 28 years of saltwater fishing knowledge from
surf to sea. I am best known for catching trophy
Striped
Bass with live bait and trolling. From May through October
the BIG Stripers are on the reefs. Or maybe it’s Bluefish
you’re after, which arrive in good numbers in early June.
Both
Fluke fishing and
Porgy
fishing heat up in June. Let me show you how to target
trophy Fluke.
Kids and adults alike love fishing for
Porgies
where a family can catch hundreds in a trip.
By mid-September the
False Albacore Tuna arrive in good numbers which are
incredible to land on light tackle. It’s common to have to gain back
100 yards of line that the little Tunney peeled off the reel in one
run.
 The fishing vessel is a 24-foot Proline center console with 200 hp
outboard with 30 knot cruising speed to get to the fish fast! The
boat is equipped with the latest sonar, navigation, and Coast Guard
approved safety equipment. Come join me for a fantastic sportfishing
experience, but beware…my fishing addiction is contagious.
Accommodating 1-4 adults, both
day trips and
night trips are
available.
